UFC: Over Half a Billion Dollars Made In 2015. Fighters Still Struggle To Break Even

There have been plenty of records broken inside the octagon in 2015 and it doesn’t stop there for the UFC. 2015 has been a record year in terms of numbers with over half a BILLION dollars already made in 2015. One thing is for sure, it’s been one hell of a year for the UFC.

During a recent interview with CNN Money, Lorenzo Fertitta revealed all about the numbers apart from one thing that he opted to keep secret. That was how profitable the UFC actually is.

 

Another touchy subject that was sidestepped by the CEO was how much the fighters get paid. It’s widely known that most fighters on the roster barely break even after paying their expenses such as coaches, travel and other fees. Take a look at the video below to see Lorenzo’s response and the shock on the face of the interviewer. Hopefully this situation will improve for most fighters during 2016.
